Up until recently, manuals were all I drove and so I blew it and knew it enough to put in a footnote for all the internet experts. Clearly, some people can't read or purposefully choose not to.

I should add that the numbnut actually came back on and said that if I were a "real professional", I would have re-filmed the clip.

Me too. I was taught if the teeth for the starter are on the converter, then it is a flex plate, if the are not, it is a flywheel. Although a pedantic internet expert would disagree, that is how I have always known them.
