bearing Hub

jeeeep

Hooked
what bearing hubs are you running with 37's?
I replaced mine 2 years ago and drivers side is already showing signs of wear. luckily I bought units with 3 year warranty so they are getting replaced for free but would like to find something more durable.

^^X2. What brand did you replace your stock ones with? I'd like to have a couple on the shelf for when mine do decide to go.

I would continue to use the one with a three year warranty. Especially if they replace them no questions asked.

I have orielly precision brand, I guess in the bigger scheme of things they've held up well, I estimate around 40k miles and it is only the drivers side.

I did have to argue a bit to get them replaced under warranty, they were claiming normal wear but luckily the Manager there knows me from lots of other purchases and allowed the warranty exchange.

I've been looking at Timken, thinking about given them a try

it wasn't no questions asked, I guess I lucked out the manager was there but the hub assembly was pretty loose which to me indicates an internal failure

glad they replaced it

anyone notice that h_u_b assembly got turned into a link by skimwords?? is this an site update or did the recent IE update add this...hmmm

funny - I just noticed that on the guess that jeep part thread,,, gas tank

lol the link to gtank just took me to a 4.5 Gallon Gas Tank for Sportster motorcycle... oh well. click on them all! I think it pays per click through :thumb:

The Timken unit bearings I've seen still use ball bearings instead of roller bearings and are made by iljin there
Over seas counter part...
