ATX Slab rock ring insert question

Hooked
Hopefully you guys can give me some insight. I finally got my tires and and went to start mounting. I noticed the inserts in the wheels are not all at equal depth. I'm not as concerned about the ones that are deeper but some are actually raised above the face of the wheel. So is the ring supposed to sit flush on the wheel or is there a gap between the ring and wheel? If it's supposed to sit flush I'm going to have to drive the inserts deeper. Also, if I need to drive them deeper I imagine there's a better tool out there than a big ass screwdriver. Maybe something similar to a choke tube wrench for a shotgun. I was gonna call up ATX tomorrow but hoped I could find some answers on here first. Thanks in advance.

I am far from a beadlock expert, but none of the inserts on my Chamber Pros stood proud like that. That cannot be right, The rings are supposed to sit flush with the wheel for the most part and those inserts should be flush at minimum.

Take a large flat head and use it to "flush" everything up. I had to do this when I broke down a wheel/tire to fix a flat before putting it back together. It's easy enough to do.

Screwdriver will work just like others have mentioned. I called Spyderlock and got the tool along with extra bolts and inserts. Bolts and inserts were $1 each and the tool was $10 I think. I keep a ziplock in the jeep with them just in case.

Thanks for the replies guys. I shoulda checked how easy they turned before I posted up. Was able to get them below the face of the wheel. Got one mounted up tonight. Thanks again.
