Article: Front Axle Shafts : C-Clips vs. Full Circle Clips

Great write up, I was watching some of your movies today and noticed that you don't use the RVC axles. I don't think they make them for 60's. Then I noticed that RubiCat didn't have them ether. That got me thinking. Do I need RVC's? I agree with your opinion. I am sure the RVC's work well. But the standard chromoly axle shafts work fine too and at half the price I think its a good up grade from the factory shafts. I will be going with the standard chromoly shafts and buy new gears with the money saved.

Actually, they do make RCV's in a 60 but, I run competition shafts made by Foote and they use CTM u-joints. Nothing is stronger. As far as Rubicat goes, like I said, I've run RCV's in the past and they are nice, just not needed.
