Are R/T Tires Adequate for Heavy Rock Crawling

I am in the process of upgrading my '23 Wrangler Rubicon with a 3.5" lift, heavier steering components, 5.13 gears, heavier shafts and trussing the axles. Now I am debating on what tires to put on. I am going back and forth between 37" and 38", leaning toward 38" which limits tire choices quite a bit. My debate comes from the fact that I do highway drive my Jeep (do not trailer it), but I also participate in some heavier rock crawling, and in the next year, I plan to run the Rubicon Trail. The question is, would something such as the Falken Wildpeak R/T01 or Nitto Ridge Grappler be adequate for a trail such as the Rubicon, or Terminator (Table Mesa in AZ), or is it a necessity to go with a mud tire? Thanks in advance for your input!

Mud tires are not required and you can do everything including the Rubicon and more without them or even RTs, a truss, new axle shafts or whatever you’re imagining you would need for it.
