I know Moochie tows his behind his RV on a regular basis. He has no problems and is also on 37's.

Jeeps are towed behind RVs all the time. You need to make sure your tow system is capable. A supplemental brake in the Jeep is usually required by most state laws.

The only issue I've ever heard of was with older Wranglers that had locking steering. A couple people I know dragged their front tires at an angle when the steering locked because they didn't set the key in the right position.

Over 1600 miles, from Ft Bliss TX (El Paso) to Ft Jackson, SC (Columbia). Not a single issue. Rented a tow dolly, but I have seen them for sale on websites for pretty decent prices.

I flat towed my 2000 TJ for a while. Tow Bar connected to the D-Rind brackets. I wired the rear light to a connected that was under the hood, brake lights turn signals. Transfer case in neutral and the key in the unlock position. Towed it behind my RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi. No problems.

My real concern is my aev tow brackets that came with my bumper. They are bolted directly to frame but are too thick for my blue ox tow bar. Should I just grind down 1/8" or make bracket to mount to tow bracket ?? How do I wire lites?

My father flat tows his stock Rubicon with the blue ox system. He ordered his LOD front bumper with the blue ox tabs welded directly onto the bumper. They wired the lights by tying directly into the light harness on the brake light and he ordered a braking system that sits in the drivers side floor board. He just puts everything in neutral and he is ready to roll. I can find out brand names on the braking system and tail light setup. I'm pretty sure he ordered a kit for the tail lights.

Apparently jeep sells a wire harness that just plugs in and controls lights and brakes. Anyone know or hear of it?

My jeep is on 37" an I flat tow a lot. I got a tow bar custom made for my bumper and added the Jeep tow harness and it works like a charm. Just follow the instruction in your owners manual on how get it into tow mode. Just don't back up your motorhome with the jeep in tow, it doesn't like it ;)

I'm kind of curious about this too. Ill be towing mine from TN to CA soon. What all do I need, and where should I buy it? I'm assuming a tow bar, and brake light? Or should I try to rent a trailer if I can?
