Any Mountain Bikers?

Hell yea, have fun. Lots out there to choose from. My 2013 Yeti is going strong.

Yea man, I’ve been pushing to ride more this year. Getting my money out of my park pass. In years past, that hasn’t always been the case.

lol, I definitely wear more pads in my thirties…

It’s true. You see guys like Brandon Semenuk running a single crown fork at Rampage…

I will say, I’ve got my eye on a dual crown fork for the first time. Bike park sells their rentals. It’s a 2024, been used one season. $3,000. Comes with a full suspension tune and new tires. Going to check it out Saturday…

good looking bike

Hell yeah man I say send it! I hope to add another bike to the stable when I have more time to ride next year. DH bikes are absolute park rippers. I’m a big Trek fan so would probably go for a Session. Been eyeing a new Slash for quite some time too.
The Session 8 is one of the cleanest looking bikes out there. Super nice.
good looking bike
Thanks Joel. Hope I end out with it.

Sick man! That SB and Session are sweet! Park tool stand is a must too haha. I’m looking to upgrade my bike really soon - just been trying to sell my current one first but the market is trash here in SD!
Thank you, sir! Just bought the SB160. It’s a 2024 old inventory that was on sale. Also just finally bought the park tool stand after years of suffering lol.

And yup, the resell market is all low-ballers here too. I decided to just keep my SB95 for now. Will probably end out selling it one day to fund more parts, haha.

Good news! I FINALLY sold my bike. And to an old friend’s son so I was happy to see it go to someone I know and that will enjoy it thoroughly.

In other news, I also picked up a tailgate pad from evoc/RockShox for the truck. Now I can use either vehicle to transport bikes whether it’s the nice Thule platform rack on the Jeep or now this.

Lastly, while I wanted a Trek Slash for the longest time, I found a killer deal on a Trek Remedy (discontinued big sender 27.5 wheel bike) with an upgraded Fox 36 fork local to me. My buddy convinced me to stay with a medium frame and 27.5” wheels to keep it nimble and playful as I primarily ride big jumps and fast downhill trails. Picking it up tonight and will be sure to post a pic!

I was just thinking about how it was a typical Toyota mountain biker lol, hit or miss with the mountain bike guys - some cool some dumb.
sadly, it's with everything... there are always the mental midgets that give an entire group a bad rep... except for SxS riders, all of them, 100% lol
