Caught the Bug
Well pretty much the title says it all. After seeing eddies plan c I have decided to persue an xj as another rig. I had wanted an xj a few years ago but never got one. Been wheeling a jk rubi and a jku rubi the past 2 years. Well my buddy who is serving in the army has an xj that needs work. And well after a few txts, we decided on $500 and my old rubi suspension for his new to him jku. The xj kinda runs, needs a tune up, a good cleaning, and a new exhaust from the headers on back. It has been parked for 2 yrs anything else i should check out. 1384841156485.jpg1384841170951.jpg in the pics you can see it has a 3" lift and 31s, roof rack, lights, and a wrecked front end. He has all the parts for the front end. Hope I enjoy the xj life.

You've probably already thought of this but if it just sat for that long i would drain / flush all the fluids. It would look pretty sweet with a stinger.
 
Ya I was going to do all the fluids. It cranks up but not great due to sitting there. I plan for a stinger bumper, sliders, and 33s, maybe some armor on the corners..but manly to have a rig that was cheap enough to trail with and not worry too much if I dent it or scratch it.
