AEV Beadlocks?

I like the look at the AEV pintler beadlocks, but don't see many reviews on them. Anybody have any experience with them?

They crack. Search "cracked AEV Pintler" and you'll get a lot of results. AEV finally stopped replacing them.

I had one of their non-beadlock pintelers cracked, but they replaced it under warranty. I have since sold those rims and am now running Slabs.

Another member here just recently ripped the weight lip off the outside of his Pintler after catching it on a rock (not that big of a rock).

I have seen a few threads where folks with the beadlock versions have issues getting the ring to seat correctly. It is pretty thin and can warp during install.

I'm seen 2 for 2 crack each time I've been out with someone who has them. Couldn't get me to run them for free.

Yup, won't go wrong there! That 5/8" think slab ring will take all the abuse you can throw at it.
