Hi all,

Just introducing myself here.

My name is Shawn, Im 30 years old. I bought my jeep in January of 2015, it's my first manual vehicle, and my first off-road capable vehicle aside from quads, and dirt bikes. I had my heart set on a gecko green rubicon, until I saw the pricing, proceeded to sh*t my pants, and began looking with a little more realistic goal. After a year of hunting I finally came across my little jeep, liked the price and bought it as quickly as I could set up the bank financing.

She's bone stock aside from the tires, which came on it from the dealer.

2012 Sport, 6 speed. after 1 week of owning it, playing on the local sled trails hungover as hell a few days after my stag. Well worth it!

Plans are to install a 2.5" lift, still researching manufacturers, lots to learn here, but I seem to gravitate towards RK, Metal Cloak, and Evo, with the last being a dream, as I find most of their stuff is well above what I need or what my budget allows.

Going to start with 33's and then move to 35's once I've been able to take care of the axle and gearing accordingly. 3.21's suck even with 245/70R16 Grabber AT2's. Planning on trutracs front and rear.
ACE or PS Flares (whenever ACE gets their new design done), Evo or PS rocker armor, and sliders. Not sure where to go with the bumpers, I like PS stuff, ACE's stuff... it'll take some time.
Evo skid plates as needed, there isn't much in the way of rock crawling up here, so my armor needs are minimal outside of rocker and evap protection.

Whatever else I may need aside from the basic C gussets and possible axle sleeves etc.

I'm looking forward to absorbing as much of the wisdom here as possible.

Keep the rubber side down!
