My expedition one spindle is MASSIVE and uses a 1.5" nut. I can't imagine it ever falling off like that. I would never buy another product from a company that put out something like that.

Wow really? The funny thing is, Smittybilt, having the reputation they do (shittybilt, made in china, etc) actually gets things like their hitches certified. If you didn't tell me, I would have said it was a $300 ebay bumper. I would be PISSED. I hope the company took care of your friend.
