I'm about to order 35"s and gears.

current setup.
2" rancho front springs and the heaviest stock rears(went up 2#'s from my factory)
The jeep sits level with bumpers and winch.

I will cut my fenders but will I need more lift? If I would order 2-2.5 inch be enough?

As long as you get advertised 35s and not true 35s youll be fine.

Edit: Also get used to the gas station lol!

Second Edit: I alsk extended my bump stops and it has not rubbed the few times I fexed it out.

Advertised 35/12.5/17

07 JKU going to order 4:88 gear set from Northridge.

With 80,000 miles should I get master rebuild or install kits?

Have everything lined up with the local gear installer and have it narrowed down to 2 tires. Still trying to figure out a 2.5 lift. How's the rubicon express with monotunes?

What all do I need in a kit or should I expect to buy to make it all work properly?

What lift you running?

Rough Country Series 2, budget boost. No complaints so far, but Im not sure the front shock extensions would hold up to real abuse. It should get me by until I can afford a real lift.

I may have missed it but what year is your JKU? And is it an auto or manual?

07 auto. JKUX

With only 2.5" of lift you shouldn't need anything extra (front drive shaft, LCAs, track bar bracket etc). Just make sure you get bump stops that are at least as tall as the lift to prevent over compressing your springs when articulating.

ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1421114428.453079.jpgthe R.E. 2.5 with monotubes is good kit for the money. I just installed the same kit only took three and a half hrs with a buddy helping. it rides great and comes with everything you'll need just make sure you have the correct back spacing on your wheels or have spacers and you should be fine with the 35's. Good luck!

Heres my Rig with 34's on 17" wheels
Pro comp 4"-2" lift
Smitty Built Fender Flares
Going to install 35's w/ option to go as big as 37's
I figure after I install Long Travel and 6" lift i'll run 40's but I'll have to re gear again.

These are what I could find.

First one is the day I brought it home from dealer.

Second and third are right after I installed the fender flares.

Notice that I haven't reinstalled the fender liner yet. Reuse the stock one you just need to trim them.

The rest of my Jeep photos are all sexy flexy as they should be.
