As i was offroading solo on 2N33 (Pilot Rock Trails), i ran into a tow truck/ "recovery specialists" 4 person crew that were lost on the mountains. They stopped me and asked if i have seen " a 35FT Fifthwheel Travel Trailer on the trails"... ..huh.....( i thought they were just pulling my chin and are joking... .........offroaders that had been on these trails know it is barely enough for a large pickup, let along a pickup AND a very large travel trailer).....
I said "come again".....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They repeated the same question again...... at that point i started taking them seriously....
Since i had trails maps, i pointed them to the trail they need to take..... sure enough... 15 minutes later, from a distance of less than a mile, i spotted their "recovery truck" stuck on top of a hill they were not suppose to be on....
I turned around, went back and guided them down off the hill and took them to where the travel trailer was supposed to be stuck.
sure enough, let be hold and to my amaze, there is a very large 5th wheel stuck at a very tight turn half way up the hill on 2N36 ( yeah, the 5th wheel was being pulled by a 2 wheel drive ford 250 quad cab)....
since there was nothing for me to do or help with, i snapped a couple of pictures from a distance and continued my trails.
what a day, i could never have imagined that.
oh another thing.......... while speaking with the 5th wheel owner, i asked him where he was going and what he was thinking????????
He replied he was going camping at Silverwood Lakes RV campground, and the GPS told him to take that route to get to the camp, and he was stuck there since yesterday afternoon......hehehheheheheheheh.....
coincidentally, as i was heading back home on 138, just as i passed Cleaghorn/ silverwood lake exist, i see the same man with his 5th wheel travel trailer taking the silverwood lake exist. ....
