I know I have seen a post covering this, but I can't seem to find it. Anyways I'm look at getting 33/12.5/17. What is the ratio sizes that will get me really close to that size. Actual or listed. This hurts my feeble brain.

Stock Rubi tires. A few people have those for sale on here.

Nawwww....stock rubi tires are advertised as 32" tires but are more like 31" tires.

305/65R17 is a small 33"x12"
285/17R17 is a bit taller but 11.5" wide
255/80R17 is 33x10.5"

Listed 33
Actual between 30 and 31 inch is my guess.

listed 35
actual 33 to 34 inchs

285/75R16 Duratracs are about 32.25 tall. They are considered a "33". If you want 12 inches wide you'll have to go 305 or more.

Why not just get 33x12.50's to avoid trying to find "a match"?

This. Why not just get a 33x12.50? I had 285x70R17s on my 2013 2 door and used to run the same on my 2014 4 door. They were BFG All Terrain KOs. They measured just over 32 when new at 30 PSI. If you want a tire that actually measures 33, and not an advertised 33, then you need to be looking at an advertised 35" tire. :yup:

Yup. ive come to the conclusion everybody over complicates this. A 33 will measure a bit smaller than that when mounted. Same goes for 35s,37s,40s blah blah blah. This 285/65-47×3%R17 confuses the living shit outta people. Im usually all for metric, but the way its implemented on tire sizes is waaaay outside of most peoples mindframe. How tall is the tire? How wide is the tire? What size wheel does it go on? It should really be that simple. End rant.
