2H light flickers, Serv 4WD warning…

burnt clutch

For the last couple of years, occasionally, I’d notice the 2H light in the cluster flicker, then eventually, “Serv 4WD, swaybar disconnect not available” come on.
Apparently, it’s most likely related to the transfer case position sensor and/or the harness.

I can’t seem to find a video about how to change this out. Any help?

My Jeep is a 2018 (JL) Rubicon, 6MT.
Thanks.

Yeah, metal debris gets in the locker position sensor and you have to replace them which are usually backordered. Just buy two of these, fix the one and keep the other in the Jeep for when the other one goes bad…

Also, you have to buy a set of 5 and figure out which one is the correct sensor by trying them one at a time until the warning message clears.
