2016 SEMA : MyTop XJ Transformed Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited

Honestly, I have no clue why anyone would want to take a Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited and transform the front end of it to look like an old XJ Cherokee. I mean, not that I don't like XJ's, I just like them for being what they are. But hey, as lame as I might think this thing is, there's clearly someone who thinks it looks like the bomb.

I like it. I think 4 door Jeeps don't really look "Jeep like" anyway and have always dug the XJ style. It fits. It even looks way better than a factory XJ. I would do this... if I was rich and could afford to.

I don't get the one green grill slot... weird.

He has the spot painted light blue as a tribute to his Son who has a traumatic brain injury. That shade of blue is the color for traumatic brain injury awareness.

Looks greenish to me. I like the fact that there is a traumatic brain injury color. Now I want to do this, I have one from Iraq.

I like it. I'm a big fan of the XJ and the fact this guy merged an XJ and JK seamlessly is pretty awesome!! :clap2::clap2:

The JK makes a great blank canvas

My JKU hardly resembles what I drove off the dealer's lot in 2008 after years of mods. I have always liked the looks of XJ/MJ Cherokee/Comanches and I think this one-off is a fine tribute. I recently finished the restoration and upgrading of my 1989 MJ and decided to not do the Seven Slot upgrade, which is mostly a bolt on modification, because I thought it was too much work. So I really have to appreciate the hard work and craftsmanship that must have gone into this JKU. I hope to see it in person sometime.:thumb:
