I have a bit of a line starting to form in the leather on my driver's seat too. As long as it doesn't start to crack I'm not worried, but I'm a little more concerned about this:
That's on the upper part of the driver's seat, from the belt buckle being sandwiched between the seat and the door in about -40° weather. The leather was so cold and brittle that the buckle left a circular hairline crack around those two spots (might not be easy to make out in the pic). Since I noticed that, I've been careful to move the buckle to the front of the seat before I close the door so I don't make it any worse. I did get the leather protection at the dealer that comes with a 5 year warranty, so if it does start to flake I'll take it in, but for now I'm just keeping an eye on it.
