.......the new rims are ugly as hell:D

I have to agree, what the hell were they thinking with these two designs. Although I guess I can understand the Sahara being a little more "blingy", but the Rubicon should have at least followed Ford's direction like they did by offering factory beadlock options on their Raptor. Oh well, that's why we have ATX, Walker Evans, Raclines, etc.

I get the sahara option as you said. Its purpose is to be bling.

I'm more pissed off I just sold my 2012 Rims and tires. They should be worth more now that the 2013's come with these abortions

Haha! I think you just called it. I can see these three threads on JK Forum almost immediately after the first 2013's are out.

"Help! Will 2007-2012 JK wheels fit the 2013??"

"Wanted to buy: 2007-2012 Stock Rubicon wheels for my 2013"

"Feeler: trade 2013 wheels (plus cash) for 2007-2012 wheels"

:cheesy:

I guess I am odd man out on this one...I really like the Rubi version (for a stock wheel) but would use BL's, instead, anyway. The sahara is just horrible, but then again I hate chrome on a 4X4 :icon_crazy:

When I look at the Rubicon wheel for 2013, I see more of a hot rod wearing them, or even a hot wheels car. Something with a custom 1960's vibe or even a rat rod, I could go for seeing that wheel on one of those.

Fortunately, opinions differ. You see anyone offering '13 Rubi wheels, I've got '13 Sport wheels (just like 07-12) that I'll trade :)

You have this in your jeep? Yours is a 2013?

Knowing the exact psi in each tire seems pretty cool to me... No more need for a tire gauge...

I took them out of my jeep a wile ago. And I have a 2008. And your still going to need a gauge. When your airing back up. It would be easier than running back and forth to look at the dash for the tire psi.

I check the tire pressure on all our cars every couple weeks. This works for me. It may not work for everyone.

Sorry but those wheels suck. But for those who like them. Wait a few months those wheels will be all over the forums by guys upgrading.

Yeah, the old ones are annoying because they only tell you if your psi is "too low". However the new ones actually tell you the psi of each tire, which is much more advantageous. And I usually tend to wheel with my wife and son in the car... So I wouldn't have to run back and forth to check on the psi when airing up.

I know that GMC cars and trucks used to have TPMS that displays the exact psi in the dash.

In my case, I will set the value with the procal module to the pressure I'll run in the street so it won't turn the light on everytime I start the jeep, and on the trail, I don't really mind if it lights up.

didn't see this posted here and I don't know how legit it is...Terraflex posted it up on FB. If true, makes me kind of wish I'd waited for the 2013's.

Commando would have rocked...but I still think they should offer it (and the tans) in a flat finish.
