Hey Folk. I’m needing to replace my Cats. P0420 and P0430 codes. 2008 jk with about 140k miles. Unfortunately i need the CARB complinant. Anyone tried the AP/ Eastern CARB compliant unit from Rock Auto? If yes how’d they work and fit ? Thanks -Mike

Anything sold as CARB compliant has to meet specific design and performance criteria AND be tested and certified by CARB. Buy the cheapest CARB compliant cats that are specified for your jeep if you are buying new.

Or perhaps one of the shops that does the V8 swaps has a used takeout they will sell cheap

Magnaflow has CARB compliant cats that will almost bolt on to your Jeep, just need to clamp or weld by the tcase. AP isnt bad but its hit or miss I have not tried their CARB stuff but we've used their USEPA cats before.

The MagnaFlow cats were stupid expensive last time I looked when I was trying to build a smog legal Chevy squarebody
