Even easy tasks on these things, turn a 5 minute job into more.
I had a headlight go out, so I replaced it. The light went up in smoke in a minute.
These are 12v lights, and it’s getting 12v at the plugs however I noticed the cloth ground wire is falling apart.
Rather than run out the original head light plug, I used the factory soldered piece and made a new negative ground in the head light bucket. I will be completely restoring the harness at some point.
