08 rear quarter foam pad

Has anyone closed these off in a better way. Mine are full of mud.

Foam just pulls out, remove the tail light and rinse it out with a hose. Jack up the pass side and all the water n mud will drain out. Prob not a good idea to try to seal it up. Just put the foam back

That's what I've been doing. Just fills with shit over again. Has to be a better fix.

My 13 has that gap sealer spray foam inside there I assume it came from the factory that way, I didn't put it in there... Just a thought.

My 15 looks exactly the same as that and yeah it fills with shit every time I'm off road. I just pull the tail light and hose it out every now and then
