    I thought of stainless but heat tends to melt plug wires. I saw the dorman instruction sheet and it says "correct mounting surface runout prior to installation or new manifold cracking will recur."     Well the dorman replacement lasted 4 months this time and has since cracked... At this point I will try the suggested method above and remove heat shield.

    08 Jeep Wrangler JK exhaust original exhaust manifold cracked at 54,000 miles. Replaced with Dorman exhaust manifold, cracked in 3 months, 3100 miles. Stock mopars on back order until June.

    Greetings, 08 Jeep JkU Unlimited X, 57,000 miles. Leaking oil, driver side front axle by the knuckle. I assume its a axle seal? If that is indeed the case is this something that is easily done?

    UPDATE: Turns out had nothing to do with a ground. It was a bad range sensor. Computer thought it was not in park, so no start. Once range sensor was replaced, no issues since it was replaced.

    08 Jeep JKU. New Steer Smarts tie rod, drag link and track bar. Took it in to Les Schwaub for an alignment. They were able to get Right toe back into specs. However caster and camber not so much. Right caster 3.0 should be 3.7-4.7 Right camber ok Left camber -1.0 should be 0.6-0.1 Left...
