I was at my local Firestone have a quick rotation done, and the tech said to " we noticed some wear on the driver side front tire." He then told me that that means the ball joints are starting to go. I do know that unusual wear can be a by-product of failing ball joints. I won't be able to test...

It was -17 that day in Littleton Colorado.

Any guesses welcome. Driving home from work I noticed my speedo dancing around. Then 5 minutes later it dropped to 0 and the brake light and abs light came on for half a second. It did this twice. The second time the airbag light was lit and the engine sputtered.
