Another great video! This simple approach would save a lot of people the cost of a tow out in the area where I live who park in the sand just off of the pavement. Every year I see several cars and trucks up to the rear axle in the sand waiting on a tow truck.

I opened my JK this morning using my key FOB (doors unlocked and headlights came on) and got in. The Dome lights were on and everything seemed normal. This is my daily driver. I pushed in the clutch, put the key in and turned it in the ignition and nothing happened. Dash didn’t light up. So...

Installed the Synergy gas tank skid a couple of weeks ago to replace my OEM skid that was a bit beat up and had rusted through in one spot exposing the plastic gas tank. I ran into the same issue Eddie did when he installed it with the holes in the aft passenger side bracket not being tapered...

It been a long time since I updated this thread. So after running the Ultra Flo “muffler” for a few years I finally got tired of it. Too loud and the drone (2,200-2,500 rpms which is where I tend to drive at RPM-wise). So after a lot of online research I went with the Dynomax Super Turbo...

Most likely you will not damage anything if you are only welding on brackets. If you are concerned about heating up the tubes too much, then place damp rags a few inches on each side of the tube from where you are welding. It will prevent the heat from traveling down and affecting the inner...

I would keep it as original as safely possible. Depending on how the brakes and suspension feel, I would recommend upgrading them so I knew when I drove it I would be able to control it. Congratulations on the great find! Enjoy bringing her back to life in the manner you see fit!

What area/city are you near in NORCAL? Without knowing, it’s about a 300 mike swath of potential area for a shop to be potentially near you. I personally would not want to drive more than 50 miles to a good shop.
