Dont you have to immediately bleed the calipers after doing that?

Rancho through another 4 rounds of the JScan ABS bleed. Im at the mercy of how long my wife will sit and hold the pedal for me. I didn't visually see any air come out the lines BUT there was a sizeable increase in pedal firmness. First 1/3rd is still super soft second third it picks up some...

Ok update on the brakes situation. So I dug around online for ABS bleeding that was better than "using a scan tool" and I found a post of using the JScan in a slightly different manner than the instructions. Instructions say Crack the bleeder Fire the abs Close the bleeder And just goes...

Can't say i really looked at the weights until they were ripped off but it was only the fronts that hit the calipers. The rears clear just fine

There is one other thing I haven't tried yet that a few people have said was the ticket to get them firm on the Facebook page. They will pump the pedal and manually crack each line on the ABS pump. Thats about the only thing I haven't tried at this point. Figured ill give that a try and see what...

Im not sure if fusion mount and balance their own wheel sets, or if they are out sourced. Totally understand every wheel and axle combo will fit different but I do find it odd that I would get a wheel and tire set that didn't work with the axles I bought them with. Idk

Ok so this is where I'm at. "Bench blead" the master cylinder Ran the ABS bleed again And blead at the calipers again. The pedal is still super soft. I put it in neutral and pushed it a bit to at least confirm it will stop. At least enough for me to drive it around the block. Pulled out of...

So I tried just opening the front left and pumping the pedal, burned though a bottle of fluid to see no bubbles and no change in the pedal. Went down to autozone and bought a bench bleeder and hooked it up just on the vehicle using the pedal to cycle the piston and it definitely had air moving...

Worth a try to have a buddy build pressure on the pedal and I crack the lines on the master? I can get to the lines on the master from the bottom. Id have to remove all the GM computers to get to the master from the top

Not saying it can't be done but I'd have to peel back quite a few other things with rhe motor swap to get to it. Is there a better way to get air out out of the master without removing it? Just burn through a bunch of fluid and open the front left caliper and pump away?

No I haven't removed anything other than the brake lines at the axles

Yeah ran the pressure up to 15 and it held steady for a good 5 mins. There is a fusion axles Facebook page and it seems to be a common theme. Some swear by going with a J8 master, some say it took them running the abs JScan like 30 times and it finally firmed up and some have success just...

Welp got the motive power bleeder. Did the standard bleed all looked good. Ran the JScan ABS bleed. Did another manual bleed. Ran a second JScan ABS bleed and another manual bleed. The pedal is a little bit better but its still pretty dang soft to the floor 😪

I bought the power bleeder and I ended up buying an OBDII adapter so I can run the ABS bleed on Jscan. Hoping that will at least get it drivable. My end up just going to the dealer after that for a full flush and bleed if I'm still not happy

Just ordered the motive power bleeder we will see how that works. Does pressurizing from the top work into the ABS as well? I have a feeling I've got air up into the ABS as well if It sat open for that long and the pedal is so soft.

Had the wife help again Press and hold the pedal Crack the bleeder Close the bleeder Release, repeat. 5 times per corner. The driver front had like 2 tiny bubble come out but all 4 corners look good. Clean fluid no air. Start it up and its still just mush to the floor

I'm gonna try to gravity bleed the whole system. Then have the wife push the pedal again and see what happens. I didn't really keep tabs on the master while I had it torn apart so hopefully not but never know

I was fairly confident in all of them but yeah its super soft on to the floor. Gonna try to hit them again tonight see if more air worked its way out. Yeah started back right, back left, front right, front left
