Hotoil and no start need help

Were you having any issues before this? Any overheating issues? Any chance it got hit by lightning or a mouse has been chewing on wiring? I'm not familiar with these codes, but doing a little internet sleuthing it looks like it could be due to wiring issues, computer issues, or the vehicle...

Building Aurora - My 2017 JKU Winter Edition Build

I bought my Jeep last fall - 2018. She was brand new, had 57 miles on her. I have 0 buyer’s remorse. She is a daily driver and I have every intention of running trails with her. I hit Redbird SRA the day after it opened this year and it was a blast! I've been trying to educate myself before...

Life hack - keeping shit in doors off.

I really appreciate the feedback and I understand the paranoia. Kids definitely do some stupid shit! Hell I still do stupid shit and I'm 15 going on 38... I've notice the oldest slouching in his booster seat and had to educate him on that. Sit up straight so you don't slide out and the...

Life hack - keeping shit in doors off.

I may have too low of risk aversion so I'm willing to be educated. Hell, I'm getting my 7 YO a 50 cc dirt bike for xmas (and all the necessary safety gear)... I foresee broken bones, but that's the way I grew up... I did a little searching about kids and doors off. Seems like some people...

That's a good idea. I'll have to steal this if I need to hold down a similar load!

Life hack - keeping shit in doors off.

Sorry, probably didn't help that the pics are sideways! Haven't figured out how to fix them, or get them to post right side up... The wrap-it straps I'm using are 100% reusable. They're basically a elastic velcro strap. I use one around the roll cage to anchor off of. The string of zipties...

Life hack - keeping shit in doors off.

Lol, that would do better. The wrap it bands tend to conform around the random sippy cups my daughter uses. And i can move them easy. All i was looking for. Paracord and zip ties was more trial and error. Just wanted to give recommendations on how to keep easily ejected crap in the cab.

Life hack - keeping shit in doors off.

I've had to tackle keeping my kids toys and drinks in while doors are off. And the old ladies sometimes... I cut up some netting and bungie cords to cover those door frames. But shit still slips through. These velcro Wrap-its available at walmart, some zip ties, and paracord the sky or under 5...

    Cool non-jeep vehicles you've seen

Took a lunch break from stocking shelves. There was a group of sweet ass sports cars in the lot. My favorite being the Ford GT. Thought some of you may like!

    Future Jeep Girl

I bought my not quite 2 YO daughter a remote control jeep powerwheel. The reveal video would melt your heart, she instantly associated it with my Jeep. Arm pumping and all with excitement. She refers to it as 'her jeep' and get's angry when her older brother wants to ride in it.

SHINY or BLACK : Aftermarket Jeep Wheels Survey

I prefer black rims. But I think they tone down the light blue of my jeep.

    Another lift kit question

First off i really appreciate the wealth of knowledge here, and have enjoyed and been well informed by the threads i have read. Thank you members. I am pretty ignorant on jeeps and offroading but am loving the new hobby. And trying to learn. I'd love to build a very functional offroader, but...

Life Hack - Winch Controller Cover

I used wing nuts to replace the nuts on the back side of the no winch plate for easy removal (I cut the no-winch plate so the drivers side can come off). But honestly there is enough clearance I can get my hands in there to switch it without having to remove the plate.

Life Hack - Winch Controller Cover

I purchased a Smittybilt X2O winch for my Jeep, and recently customized and affixed the controller to my no-winch delete plate. A couple of reasons for this, but mainly it was interfering with and rubbed the paint off my grill... Even though this is supposed to be an IP rated winch, I've read...

    Front Sway Bar Disconnect

I've done a few forum searches to see if the info I'd like to know was already stated. I didn't have any luck, apologies if this has come up before. I purchased a 2017 Jeep JKU Sahara Winter Edition last fall. I have not done any major upgrades (lifts, new wheels/rims, etc.) I'm new to...

    Love camping!

Other than camping on the way to/back from SW Florida in March I have not had a chance to camp for 2 years. Miss it! The misses and kids came out for dinner. Otherwise just my dog, my jeep, and I.
