Did I get scammed on a brake flush?

Sorry to tell you this ... but yeah, you got hosed. A proper flush would have included removing all of the possibly contaminated brake fluid from the master cylinder. Refilling with fresh fluid. Then the flush by doing an ABS bleed to purge, until the brake lines ran clean and clear. New...

Any ideas on how to wire a cell phone charger into the Jeep permanently?

Good deal. Glad you were able to get it to work. I ran a small usb from inside the consul power port that is always on up to the rearview area so I can charge or run on my GoPro. There is even a little cut out in the side of the consol so as to not pinch the wire. Then just snake it under...

Any ideas on how to wire a cell phone charger into the Jeep permanently?

Okay here you go. Checked it several times for accuracy and its within 20 feet. Alright for a Jeep, for an aircraft coming in to land not as much. I went through the settings to see if there was a switch to toggle Elev. on and off but did not find one.

Any ideas on how to wire a cell phone charger into the Jeep permanently?

Yes sir On the right side of the Nav screen should be displayed Elev. , Speed, and posted speed. Seems to me there is something else as well. When I was a teenager my Dad gave me a altimiter from an aircraft he was working on. Had it mounted in the dash of my 72 GT for years. Sold the car...

Show off your color matched trimmed fenders

I did my cuts a little weirder than most as I wanted to save my side marker. It will have to go if I ever go to 37s as I think it will hit. Works fine with 35's though. On that place on the rear fender, where rocks just pummel the leading edge, I used bed liner and it has held up great. Even...

    Installing Evo Long Arm Upgrade

Yes there is one bolt that goes through the cross member. I think it is 5/8's but really cant remember. I used a short one that just goes through the one side of the cross member and bracket. Be sure you do not weld the bracket to the cross member and only weld it to the frame. I was under there...

EVO Long Arm Question Please Read!!

Well it has been a little while but I think the tab thing that the bolt goes through used to look like this. (red dotted line) Like I said it was real easy to so. Note that I already had these on prior to doing my long arm so I all I had to do once the long arm install was done was to hold...

EVO Long Arm Question Please Read!!

Hey Ralfman5, The PSC Brawler Rockers that are body mounted will work just fine. Only thing you need to do is make a little cut out notch by the rear mounting hole to clear the rear bracket. Really easy to do. I can take photos later if you want. I did my skins in the body color and did the...

Best way to install wrinkle and bubble free stickers

Thanks for this little write up. Going to have to give it a try. There just has got to be something wrong with me. No matter how hard I try, can not get a sticker on strait for nothing. Even messed up the OHV sticker. Should have just slapped it on diagonally and told everyone "I meant to do that"

    Parking brake cable removal.

Could someone please tell me if there is an easy way to remove the parking brake cables. I want to get the little S hooks out of the backing plates so I can try to reroute the cables underneath the cross member. They are laying hard on the fuel filler neck and lines just at ride height and I...

Evo mfg long arm bolt on kit help

Re. the exhaust loop; it took a while for me to get my head around how to do it that's for sure. What I did was to cut out the loop and the connector piece (I know that's not the right name for it but I cant remember right now what it's called) Throw away the connector piece as you wont be...

Evo mfg long arm bolt on kit help

Yeah the bolts can get a little overwhelming. Best thing to do is separate them all out. The long 1/2 bolts are for bolting the brackets to the frame. The long 9/16 bolts are going to be your control arm bolts. The flag nuts will go up inside your frame as you cant get a wrench in there. (Here...
