Update: got the gladiator back this morning. Basic warranty was up but they covered it under drivetrain warranty. Good thing since the damn sensor is over $500. Correction Edit: covered under powertrain warranty. Not drivetrain.

Regarding your question though, while their new powder coater is much better than before, mine is still rusting. Although I live in Hawai’i where there’s lots of salt in the air and acid rain.

If you order an evo quarter pounder from them, you might get a rusty JCR spare tire carrier instead, then have to pay to ship it back to them.

And just like that. Fountain quit and basically back to a low rumble. In Overlander terminology, the mountain prematurely blew its load before anyone could enjoy the full effect.

Quick update. Something shifted or collapsed within the active fissure. The flow heading towards the saddle road is no longer being supplied by fresh lava. The vent has also changed from being a relatively low rumbling fountain to a massive fountain. No word yet on where it will be heading yet...

Friend found this on marketplace. Looks like whoever ended up buying my JKU didn’t like it enough to wanna keep it… but they’ll mark up the shit out of it.
