    Wife’s new JT

Thanks all! I will try to update as we go along. I’m pretty terrible at it though. I’m sure I will have a few questions along the way.

    Wife’s new JT

Actually it is the hard top just black. I was all for the soft top but she wanted the hard top. 🤷‍♂️

    Wife’s new JT

I have been stashing a few things ahead of time for it. Going to be more of an Overlanding (aka driving on dirt roads and camping) rig. Stage 1 will be as follows. Rubicon JT front springs (take offs) All 4 Rubicon Fox shocks (take offs) Rubicon sway bar (take off) with EVO no limits manual...

    Coil Spring Question

Same 4.5” RK springs. I have a LOD Bumper with tire carrier and 40’s on bead locks on the rear. For the front I am running an aluminum stubby bumper that’s really light. And an older warn 8000 winch with synthetic rope. It will depend on what you have for weight which route you take.

    Coil Spring Question

I had the same issue after my Hemi swap. You have a couple options. I ended up putting the front end on a diet and using R K 4.5” springs on the front with a 1/2” spacer. The other option is to use the diesel springs which are just about right for the weight of the Hemi. I called several...

Air Compressors - On Board or Not

I use a 10lb co2 tank with a simple 150psi regulator. The 10lb fit just right under the driver rear seat and recently nice and snug under the Goose Gear platform. I just exchange the tank when empty at a local welding supply. With 40’s I get 3-4 fill ups from 8psi to 30psi and it can run air...

    Dual Alternator Setup

Thoughts on a battery power station like Jackery 1000 or similar? Charges while driving and can run a fridge for a few days on a charge.

VIDEO : A Timeless Good Time - Swamp Lake Trail

Awesome. We ran Dusy and Coyote lake right before the fire. Got evacuated out of Shaver a day early but made the trip. Beautiful area! Loved it.

Yeah I get that. I’m terrible about it too. 90% of the time I don’t even log in to read stuff and I forget there is a like button now.

Really love this build. Hopefully you continue to post. Not sure what Adam’s problem is with it.

Having a hard time with death wobble 2020 Gladiator

Yeah it’s been awhile. Life’s been busy. New Granddaughter and all. Kinda weird I don’t feel like a Grandpa. Lol! The steering stabilizer thing is interesting. I don’t quite understand why it would/could cause DW but it seems to be the common denominator for a lot of people dealing with it...

Having a hard time with death wobble 2020 Gladiator

I noticed that I noticed you and WJCO both mentioned returning to stock stabilizer. I have been hearing some chat/rumors about aftermarket stabilizers not working well with the electronic steering in the JL/ JT’s . The explanations I have heard were something to do with pressure fluctuation...

VIDEO : So... What did We Buy?

Going to be great! A little change up from the big $ builds will be awesome. I know someone who is going to freak when she finds out it’s a manual trans. (Sabrina)

What Is Your Favorite Tire For Your Jeep?

To tell everyone why they are wrong and that the cheapest tires he could find are the best because that’s what he bought. So with that in mind I will say the Toyo MT’s are the best tires in the world because that’s what I bought last.

    Synergy Control arm bushing wear.

Removed arms and emailed some pictures. Hard to explain but you can see the difference if you know what to look for.

    Synergy Control arm bushing wear.

So follow up to this. I contacted Dave at Synergy and it appears my rear arms were an older version of the Durometer bushings which were de laminating. They are sending me the newer version of the bushings at no charge. Great customer service! Answered my email on a Sunday morning which is...
