    Front diff skid

Primarily the drain bolt. The Rancho does protect the cover as well. It is very beefy. It is that U bolt that I don't like.

LOVE IT or HATE IT? JEEP's New Slogan - “Zero Emission Freedom”

Uh...no it won't. Our infrastructure cannot handle it for one. Copper will be depleted long before that for second. And I could go on but have better things to do.

I have a stronger one already. But I would rather nothing hit the cover at all.

    Front diff skid

Could anyone share some feedback on front diff skids OTHER than the Rancho? Don't get me wrong...the Rancho more than paid for itself. My only problem with it is the U-bolt set up they use. I was always concerned about it and had posted questions regarding it months ago. If the front get's...

    More ads than usual

Yea it sucks. I wasn't sure if Wayalife had anything to do it or not and I didn't want to complain. This is why I don't watch regular TV, the commercials kill me.

    18 JLUR M210

Thank you for reply! I think the only thing it does is protect the seal. I have tried to look for diagrams showing part names and am not having any luck. I can push it in flush like your photo, however it has resistance and pops right back out like there is a spring pushing on it. Hopefully...

    18 JLUR M210

Could someone please at their convenience take a photo of their front diff where driveshaft yoke enters the diff? See attached photos. That ring that looks to me like a dust shield? is what I am trying to see if normal. Item #9 in diagram below. My Rancho skid plate got hit which bent it...

I fabbed a bracket and mounted on left side of frame just left of gate opening. Bought little LED's that thread and nut into top license plate holes.

Let’s See How Smoky it is Near You

First thing I thought of when I saw the street picture of smoke was that AC would be sucking it in.

Let’s See How Smoky it is Near You

I haven't read all these posts but was curious how you are doing out there. A buddy of mine told me yesterday Rubicon is closed. Are you and Cindy having to bail? Thinking about everyone out there. Stay safe!

    Steeper descents dangerous behavior

Hmmm...sounds like a asshole pucker moment for sure. Trying to understand exactly what you are saying and experiencing. I have a 2018 JLUR and have not experienced what I think you are saying? If descending a grade which is steep, IMO you should always be in 4LO. More control if anything...
