    Painting stock muffler

I used this every season for over two years on my stock muffler. It looked great, it was cheap, and it required very little prep work. Perfect solution to hold you over until you decide to spring for a nicer exhaust.

    modular bumpers?

I also have the Rugged Ridge Modular XHD bumper. It is definitely solid. As this is the only aftermarket bumper I've ever used, I can't offer you much in terms of a comparison with other brands, but I can say that I thoroughly enjoy this bumper for it's looks and durability. Currently, I run...

    Newest edition to the family!

After decades of being a Jeep family and owning everything from Grand Cherokees, to Cherokees, to Wranglers, I think my father finally got sick and tired of looking at my JK and not owning anything with a Jeep logo on it himself. Though he isn't as extreme as most of us, I'm happy to say that...

    Stinger Bumper

I'd definitely go with the EVO if you have the money for it. However, I have the XHD stubby & stinger and I really like it.

The build of Big Red (Knuckles)

My hangers actually slid right out without any problems. However, removing the two pipes from one another was nearly impossible. I shamefully had to resort to this... The mechanic was very nice and only charged me $10 bucks to cut it off. However, the body blow to my ego cost me much more!

What was done to your rig this week?

After more than an hour of hammering, chiseling and applying gratuitous amounts of WD40, I finally gave up trying to remove my old exhaust and paid a guy ten bucks to chop it off with an acetylene torch. Took him less than a minute. I loosened it for him.

    Spray Painting Exhaust Pipe

Here are a few better photos I just took of my buddy's stock exhaust. They show the 2 hangers you'll have to remove and the clamp you'll have to loosen to separate the pipes. The clamp can be removed with your average socket set. Clamp: Driver's side hanger: Passenger's side hanger: Once...

    Hood mount vs windshield mount

A big X2 on this. Those were the main reasons that I decided to sell my hood mounts. The 20" light bar I was using was a spot/flood combo and the flood portion of it glared like crazy. Furthermore, as NFRs2000NYC mentioned, it barely added any usable light up front because of the intense glare...

What was done to your rig this week?

Also, they look a bit different than the picture above, and most other 17" and up sizes for that matter, because of the deep dish effect the 10" width gives the 15" wheel. Here is a stock photo of them in my exact size:
