It's actually legit. Takes some practice but works when in a jam.

I haven't used the one mentioned but i did use the mopar brand color matched spray paint on my slider inserts. Matched pretty well; maybe 90% of perfect once the clear coat went on. I think I got it from Quadratec. It is over priced though....

The Run Supply List - What To Bring When You're Out On The Trail I like to bring a small hatchet or axe and a small shovel too. Incase of a downed tree; although a winch will pull it out of the way usually.

Just a thought but u may want to look at corded versions. I know they're not as popular or quite as convenient as the battery operated versions but, they're usually cheaper and still provide the breaking power you'd want. Plus, I think most jeeps have built in power converters now or you could...

My Experience/Opinion While saving fuel is a perk and the most common personal reason now days for wanting to unlock them, the main reason is for wear and tear on the drivetrain. Most newer vehicles do not give this option though as parts have gotten better and also have tighter tolerances but...
