Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

Thanks. It happened the next morning after a fill up and hard wheeling trail. Haven’t had the misfire code for 1K miles but probably going to just replace plugs and coils and go from there. I hope it’s nothing else!

Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

Thanks buddy!!! I will probably just replace the coil packs while I am in there. I haven’t even looked at cost yet but I might just do it and be done with it.

    38's - Are They the New 37?

I had a set of Falken 38” MTs on my old YJ and liked the size for that rig. I had a built HP 44 in front and an 8.8 in the rear and it seemed like a good in between spot between 37s and 40s. I felt like if I was going to 40s on this rig then I would have wanted one tons, but they were just a...

Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

Not a bad idea. I should just go ahead and do it. Is there any other PM work that you recommend while replacing plugs?

Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

Update: I have driven just about 1,000 miles since I started this thread a week ago. Commutes to work and a road trip to Ouray this weekend and not another check engine light has popped up. I do have the JScan app and selected “cylinder misfire count” for each cylinder and logged most of this...

Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

That makes me feel better. I filled up by the trailhead Sunday and then wheeled all day and drove 1 hour home on Sunday. Didn’t drive it at all on Monday and then it threw the code first thing Tuesday morning.

Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

Sweet. Thanks Eddie! Will it throw a code for bad O2 sensor or if there is an issue with the catalytic converter, or are those under P0300?

Multiple Cylinder Misfire - Code P0300

My 2016 Jeep JKU with 65,000 miles threw a code yesterday morning for P0300 - multiple cylinder misfire. This was while pulling out of the neighborhood on my commute to downtown Denver. I was idling down a small hill when the CEL came on. I cleared the code and made the 35 minute drive and it...

Damn it I should have checked this thread. I was trying to rile up some friends to go over there and hit Pomeroy or Grizzly and camp but nobody wanted to. Looks like a great time! Did you make it to the lake?

    Bottle Jack

It’s crazy to see all the crap that comes out of rigs that roll. I love that video of the dude with his 3 girlfriends trying to climb Potato Salad Hill and all the shit that comes rolling out of the bed when he rolls. I need to figure out a solution for my heavy tool bag in the back. I’ve...

    New 37s - 3 Choices

Thanks guys. Man I don’t know what to get. Looks like I can get the Toyo MTs too. I’ve only ran Toyo ATs but it’s been over 10 years. My buddy has the Toyo MTs and they seem to do ok on the trail. I think the BFG MTs may have a little more grip but maybe the Toyo MTs will last a little...
