    Jeep Parts collected from Christmas/Hanukkah

I love my wife. Normally I buy the jeep parts, so she really surprised me with this one. Now I won't get burnt to crap in the summer. And a few decals too!

    Essential Armor?

You must be buying the wrong covers then... I have cut through two different factory diff covers on rocks. The ones I have now are 3/8" thick steel.. Not cast... Ballistic fabrication. They are strong enough to hold up to anything. Seriously.. Sometimes if I'm getting hung up, I can...

    Line locks for E-brake?

Great idea!! I'll just use one of my spreader clamps! That's way safer! 😳 .

    Line locks for E-brake?

Ok- my parking brake is always giving me trouble, so I think I am ready to just scrap it and install some sort of line lock on the rear. I also read about a guy using a small clutch master cylinder mounted to his stock e-brake lever. I think this is the route I am going to take. Anyone...

What is needed to add a winch?

I only have one battery. I use my winch all the time and I almost never have problems. I say almost because about two years ago, I was snow wheeling with some friends and came to a nasty uphill climb that I kept sliding backwards on. It was several hundred feet long, and one side had a...

    Hydraulic Steering

Looks like everyone is mostly just talking about hydro assist. I'll throw this out there- Full hydro, I don't think is street legal, and while it is very strong and simple- it is also dangerous.. If your engine stalls, you have no steering. And I mean NO steering!! Kinda scary! Hydro...

    Recovery Tech: Sand Recovery Tips

I've always heard about burying your spare tire, but I've never had to. I can see how this method works, but there is a huge risk of the strap coming off the tire and wrapping up on your axle. Use caution. I've also heard Of Guys using just a rim so this doesn't happen.

    Limited slip differential

I really think it is a posi. Here are a couple other pics of some dana 35 posis . . . Like mentioned above, the side of the carrier is much squarer with a posi. And after looking at these pics, I realized that for the dana 35, they do not have that "s" spring I was talking about earlier.

    Tree time

The trailer is an m1102 military trailer I fell in love with. It's all aluminum, and has crazy high clearance axles combined with 37" beadlocked tires. My plan is to narrow the body almost 24" so I can wheel hard with it. ...that is, when I finally get some time. I just threw a 5 gallon...

    Tree time

Five bucks for a Christmas tree cutting permit got me a perfect nordsman (noble/grand hybrid). A plus to living where most Christmas trees are grown. Have fun with all your "fresh" trees that I saw them cutting down and shipping out weeks ago. :)

    Stingers... What are they for?

Actually- looks like it protected the radiator. Haha. The radiator and the grill are about the only things that were protected in this crash!
