How much is rake? I presume you been doing this a while and are knowledgeable that some rake is normal? Is it like a tubbed out dragster now?:)

LOL...I wished I had measured EVERYTHING before I did ANYTHING to my jeep too. There is remote possibility similar newer years maybe the same? Maybe find one like yours that was never modded...maybe in Jeep Dealer parking lot?

Ground is ground. Chassis is ground and ground bar is/to be connected to chassis. All my acc go to ground bar or chassis post. Neg side of any car battery is connected at some point to the chassis. Hope this helps.
