You are going to scratch up any bolt heads on a beadlock if you actually wheel IMO. Best to get what you like / fits and deal with it. My rings and bolts have taken a pretty good beating and are doing fine.

Overlander is correct, my CJ is on tons with 8x6.5 lug pattern.

Love my Hex's. I actually wish they made them in 17" 8x6.5 so I could run a set on my CJ as well.

I was on the cusp of going the $40k more route with long arms, coilovers, axles & 40s+ (which meant new wheels as well) but instead I bought a dedicated crawler. That said, I still plan on spending 10-20k on that now that I have it....

Went with 12pc, got an 8pc with 20' and 4pc with 10' wires. I figure I will do the 2/2/2/2 for the front / rear and sides and then put one in each fender well. Should get pretty good coverage that way!
