This may have been answered before but I haven't found it if so. I've seen several times someone write that you shouldn't take actual size into account, but only the size stamped on the tire. Why is that?

I have a 12 jk with pressure sensors in the wheels. A couple of the after market wheels I've looked at say they're not compatible with those sensors. Called the dealer and they say without the sensors my low tire light would stay on all the time. Do any of y'all run with the constant light on...
