Best lightweight 35s for 18 in rims?

Couple more pics, plus got the Teraflex spare tire mount installed. Nice piece of kit. Love the nittos, probably about 300 miles on them so far. Very smooth riding and quiet. Can't wait to get in the dirt. Being that they only weight 50 lbs, the performance impact isn't huge. A regear will be in...

Best lightweight 35s for 18 in rims?

Got them on today, they look and drive awesome! in the last pic, the drivers side tires had the wrong sidewall facing out, so they fixed it right after. Love discount tire! Teraflex HD sprare tire relocation bracket is on order.

WHO'S WINNING : Jeep vs Bronco

same anywhere I go. It's almost always 75% Jeep and then 20% yota and 5% other stuff. the bronco basically fills the role the 2wd JK had

x2. It's so sad. Hopefully now with Tavares gone they can change course before it's too late.

WHO'S WINNING : Jeep vs Bronco

exactly. But plenty of people lined up to spend $60-80k on a Defender, Land Cruiser, Lexus GX etc, or even the bronco and 4 runner at a slightly lower price point. Jeep just needs something cool and desirable besides the Wrangler. I feel like it's rental fleets keeping the Wagoneers alive.

WHO'S WINNING : Jeep vs Bronco

agreed. But I don't know that it has to beat the bronco in total sales for it to still be a good fit for Jeep. I'm sure ford sells more exploders than Jeep does grands. I think my point is that Jeep has to start making some desirable stuff that isn't the wrangler. Keep the wrangler as a...

WHO'S WINNING : Jeep vs Bronco

But I wonder which one is more profitable. The Wrangler doesn't have to outsell the Bronco to still be more profitable. If the wrangler can still be profitable and be a niche market, I think that's an okay strategy. It doesn't need to be everything to everyone. I'd rather it stay with the same...

Best tires for sand trails and highway.

Can't go wrong with Toyo Open Country AT3s - I've had 3 sets of them and loved them all. I'm getting new tires on mine and getting the Recon Grapplers, since they come in a SL load rating for 18" rims in a 35. Also have had 4 sets of the OG Terra Grapplers on my Liberty and parent's LR3 over the...

Best lightweight 35s for 18 in rims?

Thanks for the help everyone. Decided to go with the Nittos. They look cooler and weigh less, so that's a win. Plus always had good luck with Toyo/Nitto, so why try anything new. Discount tire is beating the local Jeep dealer's buy 3 get one for $1 sale, so for all 5 just over $1800, so great deal.

VIDEO : All Terrain Tires that Grapple the Snow

Nice review! I've had 2 or 3 sets on my KJ and my parents have had 3 sets of them on their LR3, all the original generation ones. Awesome tires.

    Lower Intake manifold swap.

I think it'll bolt on, but won't work as well as the factory one. The JK guys put the JL ones on since they flow better.

Best lightweight 35s for 18 in rims?

Thanks for the replies! I like the idea of keeping weight down just for the sake of it. I think I'm still leaning towards Nittos based on my past experiences with them. Never had a bad one.

Best lightweight 35s for 18 in rims?

Looking for the best "light weight" 35 (or close) AT tire for my stock Sahara rims. Looking to avoid anything load range D or E. So far it looks like two options: 295/70/18 Nitto Recon Grappler - love the looks, and the lightest one I can find (52.5 lbs), comes in at 34.4" diameter, so perfect...

    3.6 Spark plug change

Planning to do spark plugs on my 3.6 soon (just hit 102k miles). I know I'll need spark plugs (going with NGK Laser Iridiums), do I need the set of upper manifold gaskets? I have read mixed opinions on if they are reusable. Not opposed to changing them, but if I need to, is OEM required or would...
