I believe I might also be able to use Artec kit Jk6115 and just not have a truss. It seems to have all the brackets set up accordingly already with minimal guess work required. Could be wrong tho.

So I’m on deployment currently and we have this old 1985 Chevy CUCV (basically military terms of a 3/4 or 1 ton long bed Silverado) Axles look to be in pretty good shape, so I decided I was going to bring them home. Currently have the rear axle out and beginning tear down...
out with the old and in with the new. Geometry looks much better how. Hopefully takes out all that slop I’ve been feeling.

replacing the drop pitman arm with an OEM one to correct my steering geometry after flipping the drag link a few years ago. Needless to say it’s been needed to be done for years.
changing out the stockish drag link with this beefy one from Synergy
and lastly doing the ever amazing oil filter...

Make sure you get the Synergy low misalignment TRE dust boots. I have the synergy tie rod and it flops around a bit even with my stabilizer on it. But the dust boots are the answer to fix it. It sucks to have to buy more parts to make a new one work properly but man this tie rod is beefy...
