Haha I guess lol. I was going to call tomorrow to discuss suspension/bump stops if you’re available.
I stopped wheeling at an event because of the clicking and had I know it was normal I would have kept going haha.
Well damn, not even 3 months after install I already have the RCV “click”. Is that a compliment? Haha.
I’ve done more work to this thing and when I have time I’ll post pics and update.
Happy Sunday all!
I also added another sPod box. I really wanted to separate the ambers in both the front and rear bars. I also wanted to separate the fogs and the 10” bar out front.
Then I also needed to wire up the chase lights, add the air chucks button and wire up the rear white bar. Doing all of that I...
So, did a couple of more things. Apparently I used air hose that wasn’t rated for the temps that are under the hood because first outing a couple of weeks back the main feed popped when I went to use the lockers.
Because of that I switched everything to stainless that runs out of the cab...
Ran into an interesting scenario last weekend. 10-15 Jeeps on a tight trail and the guy in front of me didn’t have a spare and aired down to 10psi on non beadlock wheels. He popped the bead. It took a lot of time getting air to his front tire via musical Jeeps. The lady in front of him didn’t...
I'm sure it's been done. My winch doesn't sit in the bumper but on top. So if it is lower than the lock, then I can't imagine my visibility would be worth a lick.
Thanks everyone for saving me unnecessary work. I forgot I have one of those locking latches for the hood so I'd have to drill out the rivets and swap out the center grill piece to even restore it to stock before I install the camera.
I wish I had gotten this as an option, but live and learn. I was looking at the Z automotive one and appreciate the tire tracks in the factory one, although would be slightly skewed with aftermarket wheels/tires. So I'm debating between doing the factory or the Z Automotive one (already have a...
Thanks bud. I’ve been meaning to leave you some positive reviews. Anywhere in particular? Thank you for all the help, advice, and always being reachable.
I’m glad it’s all installed too. It’s a hard to describe the feeling of the Jeep now. It’s still very tame on the road but has changed enough...
Thank you again for the tip. I got some ceramic fire blanket that sits between the compressor and seat.
ETA: Fire blanket didn’t fit. So have standard heat shield under the seat.
