PB blaster the shit out of the ball joints ahead of time. Another tip that has helped me is once the ball joint is under the stress of the press, smack the C with a hammer. Turn the press more, then smack the C again. Repeat until ball joint is out.

Yup, I’ve been doing the same thing when replacing mine.

Just keep at it. It will break free eventually. My top driver's side was the worst... I swore the press was going to break, but it finally popped the rust and came out with no problem.
