Quick, before I drill, how does this evo corner look?

Argh, the passenger side lower bracket bolts are right into the pinch seam. I can't figure how to bend it out of the way. Trying a 4' pry bar through taillight hole, not working.

I don't understand why EVO doesn't just make these brackets a half inch longer so that those bolts clear the pinch seam. I ran into the same issue. I smashed them as flat as I could using a punch and a BFH and then used a grade 8 sacrificial bolt to flatten the seam as much more as I could. I then discarded that bolt and installed a new one in its place. Been almost 2 years and no issues since install. Not really sure what else can be done there.

Wow that SUCKED. Luckily I had 2" long grade-8 5/16" bolts to replace the short ones for the pinch seams. 4' pry bar and a lot of cursing got the pinch seams bent enough to start the nuts. Got the carrier on finally. It drops down about 3/4" when opening, but it's easy to lift into place. I have the lower passenger johnny joint half way out, the driver's lower is 1/4 way out, the uppers full in. Everything lines up so far. Still need to put fuel filler trim in, re-mount bumper, and touch up paint all the messed up finish.

It does look bad ass though! I used Grote 4" LED's with built in back up lights. I bought some eBay 4pin connectors that work with the tail lights, I also used an extra one to get all the wires for the ORO tail light/3rd brake light hooked up.

Nice man! These things are so badass, aren't they? I second the light pic request. I've not seen that brand before. They look pretty cool.

Light pics. Running, brake, and reverse. They're brighter than the photos show, I took those with the morning sun blasting into the camera.

Grote makes lighting for big rigs and construction equipment.

I think I'm sold! You had to get the resistors right?

Yup, $5 amazon resistors and $10 worth of electric plugs. I cut the pig tails off the stock tail lights. I suppose they could be hard wired in, but I like plug 'n play.

Really glad you took the extra time to take the bumper off etc. and do things right. The care you put in really shows. :thumb:
