Front coil install question

Caught the Bug
Installing my front evo front coils. I removed the old RC 3.5 and this was on top. Spacer? Is this needed with the evo springs? I don't want more than the 3 inches. 1510419197431%7E2.jpg

I was going to write a sarcastic reply, but you seem to have figured it out. Did you get the springs out without compressors and dropping the driveshaft like someone wanted you to?
 
I was following a writeup on the forum. Helped a lot. I was able to take them off with only taking off the shock bottom bolt and front sway bar. No compressor needed nor did I touch the driveshaft. This was really fun.

Was there 1 or 2 of these because there is 1 up there stock to isolate the spring from the metal spring bucket. That sort of looks like a oem part number
