Rebuilt of a Billet Silver mall crawler

Splicing wires for new fogs and vacuum pump relocate. Maybe a stupid question but does anybody know why Chrysler puts the vacuum pump so far out given there is so much room in the engine bay?

Mine is relocated under the hood. I've never noticed noise or vibration even at a stoplight or just sitting at idle anywhere. The engine is louder than it is, at least to me.

Before moving the pump look into building a bracket to turn it enough to clear your bumper.l made one by cutting the existing bracket and added a piece of scrap metal I had laying around.

I just moved it by the brake booster, I don't feel any vibrations.

I relocated the pump by the brake booster. I do hear the smaller hose sucking the air in when am standing right there with the hood up. Nothing inside the cabin though. I already took it for a test dive and no noise or vibration.

I had to trim the frame horns a little for the zeon to fit. I still need to spool the winch rope.
I am excited for wheeling tomorrow. I am meeting a fellow WAL member there. Should be a fun day.
