Cut fenders on a TJ

Saw a few pictures of people cutting their flares and leaving the signal light on a TJ. Does that make it very flimsy or does it still hold up well. Thinking about doing it to my TJ. If anyone knows please help out a fellow Jeeper

Cut the front at an angle. If you cut them straight across, the wind will catch them when traveling highway speeds and beat them up. The angle helps the wind get around them without rattling the crap out of them.

Never mind. I just reread your original post and realized you were asking about the light, not the flares.

im just going to cut the factory turn lights off and mount some turn signals in my grill.

Finally did it! Just need larger tires now...
