Earthquake!

Have you ever experienced one that moves in a circle? A few years back when I was working in Mexico City, I felt one that seemed to rotate in one direction then stop for a split second and rotate the other way. The duration was brief and to my recollection it was above a 5.5, but the sensation was quite unique. Living most of my life in So. Cal. I was used to rolling quakes and those that shake violently, but never one that felt like I was playing with a hoola hoop lol. When this happened, I was inside a "Mercado" I noticed the hanging merchandise going in circles. The lady standing next to me yelled out "Nos vamos a morir!" ( we are all going to die) I calmly let her know that if that was God's plan, it didn't matter if it was an earthquake or not she was going to be on her way.

I haven't felt a quake in about 10 years...6.7 off the coast of the Big Island...I was in Maunawili on Oahu...it woke up my daughter (nearly impossible) at 7:00 am, knocked the pictures & paintings off the walls, then took our power off the grid for two days.

Apparently there are quakes in the Hawaiian Islands daily, but they are below 1.0 in magnitude and no one feels them...part of living on an active rift zone & live volcanoes...

Lol true. SD can keep the chargers, the stands are empty on Sundays anyways. I heard rumors they may move to Las Vegas? That would be insane.

Really a shame what happened with Carr at the end of the season. You guys were poised to make a deep playoff run with him in there! The future is bright for your raiders.
