Rubicon Sway Bar Question

OH wow that's best deal!!! I got used one from eBay for abt 360 a few month ago. It's 2010 I believe. When I got it, it was not locked! So I hoped it cuz of dirt, not broken gear/part inside or I'm screwed. I took it apart and yep. Some rust n lot of dirt/grease mixed. I cleaned it up and it able to lock it again. Whew. Later I found out someone from this forum possible sell it to me which is 2015 model I think but too late. Ugh! I should have be patient a little bit longer to find best deal.

This was the inside. Looks clean enough to me?

And the No-Limits came like this with no spring. Is that correct?

I am by no mean and no where near a mechanical expert. And while I have never cracked open one of these things, I see that the gears look good. Maybe the o-ring might need replacing?

This might be a super find for the OP!!

Taking some of this gunk out, cleaning it up and sanding some parts to fit a tad better. The "no limits" homemade disconnect seems to work.

Mine was waaaaaaay worse than yours. Take every piece out and clean till theres bare metal with parts cleaner. Grease it up and reassemble. Should be good to go. And Coz is right, thats not a real no limits lol.

Everything is greased and seems to work as of now. There is a little bit of friction, but probably will pull apart and grease again. No limits is ordered and should be here Monday.

Handmade vs EVO. Crazy how beefy the No-Limits is.
