What does your jeep weigh?I'm trying to get a idea what my jeep weigh's.It's a unlimited rubicon. It has 37's,full width bumpers ,tire carrier, winch, sliders, undercarriage armor.I would go weigh it but rear-end is currently broke, and I need to buy a trailer

Was at the dump a few months back dropping off some unwanted items and they weigh you before you go in. If memory serves i was at almost 5200 lbs and i weigh about 250.

I have a JKUR with 37's and a front bumper/winch

I have armor, bumpers, sliders, PR44 front axle, but no rear tire or carrier. Half tank of fuel and I weigh 250. I weighed in at 5520.

So if buying a trailer, plan on buying to hold jeep plus gear. Figure the jeep will be 6,000lbs min. That means a trailer with 7000lb rating (2-3500lb axles) will not be big enough. Go with 10k or above for safety.

Ok.Thanks.this in the one I plan on getting.2 #7000lb axles, both with brakes. 102"x 24'

Sullivan,is that trailer 84" wide and how wide are your tires?

Keep in mind you need to deduct the weight of the trailer as well as the weight of the JK from trailer rating. I wouldn't put my JK on a 7K trailer.....

The PJ trailers are badass. They are a little more expensive but like most things you get what you pay for and you can always get decent resale on them too if you take good care of it. Carson trailers are also very nice trailers at a little lower price point. :thumb:

Just got back from looking at new trailers. Mine seems to have a bent axle. Now I'm looking at a 30ft gooseneck. PJ and Loadmax are almost the same. Both are made by a set of brothers that are competing with each other. Decisions, decisions

Here's a few pic's with my jeep loaded.I'm glad I got the superwide (102").I might have to reposition the jeep for weight distribution.
