Should I buy this poison spyder bumper?

I did not have to cut the crash bar for the brawler lite install, but when I added the lower skid I did have to cut the crash bar. What are the frame horns? I did not have to cut anything else to install the bumper the OP is asking about.

You didn't have to cut it bc it doesn't have a recessed winch mount as the OP asked for....

I missed the part where the OP asked for a recessed winch mount, I think I was the only one who mentioned wanting a recessed winch mount. If the OP was looking for a recessed winch mount bumper the PS bumper would not be an option. :hmm:

Have had this bumper since December and it's really nice. Did not HAVE to cut anything to fit it but ended up cutting off the crash bar later on for more clearance and relocating the vacuum pump by modifying the original bracket. Also added some red LED lighting on a switch behind the spyder logo for grins.

I missed the part as well where OP asked for a recessed mount:hmm:

Another thumbs up for the ps bumpers... VERY solid, made of good quality steel and fitment is excellent with no cutting required as stated earlier.

I have the PS brawler lite that the OP is asking about. Really nice bumper, but I am wanting a bumper with a recessed winch now. I have been debating between the EVO 1/4 pounder and the Pro Series. Can both the EVO bumpers be mounted without the crash bar that I had to chop off to install the PS bumper?

JF,
You can mount the EVO Pro Series without the crash bar if its completely removed but it does strengthen the entire structure as the lower skid ties it all together or you can run without the skid. I had to trim the crash bar lower pieces to get the skid to line up with the bumper.
In the test fit/pre fab you can see how the skid looks crooked.

And OP, the PSC bumper really is a nice set up. I would have considered it but I dont like the winch mount on it and the EVO was way better.

ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1463834421.047207.jpg I like the bumper and it was easy to install but looking back, I think I would have rather gone with the 1/4 pounder to lower the winch between the frame rails. But at the time it was my wife's jeep and that's what she picked. I'm still happy with it.
