Need help finding a good 4x4 shop in Western Pa/Eastern Ohio

Ddays

Hooked
Tired of dealing with people that do not understand working on lifted/modified vehicles. Unfortunately, being out east I don't have easy access to ORE/Trail Jeeps, etc.
I have a good basic local garage that does inspections & I let him do some light stuff on my other vehicles, but as far as the Jeep goes, nah. Dealership is out cuz those
guys get T-Rex arms over anything that isn't factory, & no offense to you dealership guys, I don't want a Vo-Tech kid working on my Jeep.
Anyone have good luck with anyone in the Western Pa/Eastern Ohio areas? I'm willing to travel a reasonable distance (100 mi?) to get to someone good.

Edit: I'm talking about someone that can do gear work, has welding/fabbing capabilities, etc, not just a bolt on guy...

I know someone I trust in Pittsburgh that works with a lot of shops out there. I left him a message. If he does know someone, he'll steer me in the right direction. I'll let you know.

When I was looking for a local shop that was an approved EVO installer, I called EVO and ended up with one not too far from the house. It's not ORE or Trail Jeeps, but still. Couldn't hurt to call.

My buddy just got back to me. He said the only shop he could think of is http://www.autoillusions.com/ in Moon Township. He said he doesn't really have a relationship with them as a customer, but when he's been in their for business, they seem to know what they're doing. Maybe give them a call or stop by and get a feel if they know their stuff.

Whatever you do, avoid 4wp.

Darlington is close enough to Salem, Ohio right ?
Yep, half an hour.

I'll check them out. My office is 10 minutes away from there...

I did click on their facebook link on their website. Pretty cool pics of some builds they've done. Looks like a lot of high-end cars though.

Call Daveys Jeeps, see if his brother in law Matt Peters still works on jeeps. He is hands down the best fab, regear guy around.

Worth a peek!

I have heard of those guys but didn't realize they did fabrication work there. I will give them a call.

Thanks gents! :beer::beer:
Reason for asking is my next addition is a PSC steering system. I can do mechanical work but don't weld. This is serious enough of a mod that I really
want someone that knows what the hell they're doing for this. Time for a gear checkup at the same time.

Daveys doesn't do work. He's a jeep junk yard. Matt Peters is his wife's brother. He has a shop close by. It's been awhile so I don't know if he's still working on other peoples jeeps

Crawler concepts in Carlise, pa not too far from Harrisburg. I'm probably going to them to do my gears. I know they make some legit parts in house, an their welds are pretty stout. I think northridge4x4 is selling their products now too.

Or River Raiders, they are right up the road from me lol.....

My luck river raiders is in my area an not ORE :(

I wouldn't let River Raider change the oil in my weedwacker.

Anyone know of one near Fort Worth Texas?

My buddy doesn't remember the name of the shop. He'll find out soon he said. He said they're somewhere in Irving and always have like 10 lifted Jeeps in the parking lot. He's done other jobs there and said they sound knowledgeable.

10-4. I looked their site up. Actually saw a potential project Jeep there! I will probably give them a call tomorrow & see if Matt still does projects.

I tried Google but these guys aren't coming up anywhere...are they in Carlisle or another town?

Friend was telling me about it today, I think it's a shop that stocks their parts. They are not crawler concepts though.

Sorry , had wrong info :( My bad.
